Twilight Portals for warping can be shown on the map, but can only be shown at the world and full-province levels, and only selected to warp to at the latter. The mini-map uses these overlays as its basis. This forms the smallest-scale zoom level in its entirety, and the under-layer for closer zoom levels.Īt the second and third levels of zoom, focusing on individual provinces, this is overlaid with green areas (blue for water) representing areas which Link has visited. With the latter, a "parchment-style" map of Ordona Province, and most of Hyrule - Faron Province, Eldin Province and Lanayru Province - is available from the start of the game, while Peak Province and Desert Province are added to this layer once each are visited. From all the attempts at different Zelda themed Minecraft creations I have seen, they are by far doing the best job.As with earlier Zelda titles, the map object is split into a mini-map, viewable on screen at most times, and a full-screen map which can be viewed while gameplay is stopped. I have to hand it to all the work Kevin and the rest of the guys at GenGAME are putting in on this. While I don’t play Minecraft myself, I have to admit that I would be lying if I said HyruleCraft didn’t excite me. In addition to the already released 1:1 reproduction of Hyrule and the original NES Zelda Dungeons, we can expect to see some PVP areas, some zones outside of the original Ocarina of Time game, and some maps inspired by A Link to the Past that are still being planned. Although it’s not available for download yet, its nice to have a glimpse at what is to be expected. In just four days, Kevin was able to completely build all the classic dungeons on their HyruleCraft server. For a closer look, be sure to make the jump inside for the video showing off all the dungeons and more details on the project.
